clone

THE CLONE IS NOW ORIGINAL. LESS THAN FIVE YEARS AGO WHEN HE MADE HIS INTERNATIONAL DEBUT, VIRENDER SEHWAG LOOKED A RUSTIC, COPYCAT VERSION OF BATTING MAESTRO SACHIN TENDULKAR.
THE COMPARISON INVITED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION, AND IN MANY WAYS EVEN DID HIM CREDIT. AFTER ALL, TENDULKAR WAS WIDELY REGARDED AS THE BEST BATSMAN IN THE WORLD, AND IF YOU POSSESED SOME OF HIS SHOTS APART FROM MANY MANNERISMS, IT WAS NOT SUCH A BAD THING

i will do it.

I will

I will not allow my fears to dictate my actions

I will express declaratively rather
Rather than apologetically,

I will freely go to my peers for
Advice or information

I will tell my seniors
What I perceive to be problems

I will tell my subordinates
When I am displeased with their work,

I will not feel it necessary
To defend myself

I will allow myself to say no
Without feeling guilty,

I will not say anything cruel to anyone
I will keep my faith in god

PILGRIM'S PROGRESS

Until became a separate state some years ago, chhattigarh was the uncelebrated dorsal end of Madhya - pradesh geography. Two years of focused publicity have brought it into limelight as a region brimming with a distinct and diverse fare. Besides the dozen or so national parks and wildlife sanctuaries and the famous tribal culture of bastar, the legacy of ancient temple and sculpture is a prime attraction.
And through the north has its share, it is the central and southern regions that are more accessible for now.
Incidentally, the traveler familiar with the pitfalls of Indian road travel is due for a pleasant surprise in chhattisgarh. The condition of highways is excellent.
All journeys is the state began at the capital, Raipur.
A town dating back to the 15th century, Raipur was bestowed a colonial facelift by Agnew in the first half of the 19th century to serve as headquarters of eastern circle of British Central Provinces.
East of Raipur, the temple trail begins modesty modestly with the small but sophisticated Bhand Dewal temple.
Hemmed in but not encroached upon by the village of Arang, the many-comered structure houses in interesting combination of black-stoned jain tirthankars and Hindu Deities.

Further, on the banks of Mahanadi , lies sirpur, one of the main centers of religious architerture.
Here are the ruins of an ancient Buddhist monastery and chaity hall, at the end of which meditates another massive rendition of the Enlightened One.
The gandeshwar temple is sirpur’s largest.

Heaven on earth

I would have to blessed with an exceptionally long life if I were to even dream of completing my pilgrimage in the holy land af orrisa. I am a first time visitor slightly bewildered, thoroughly overwhelmed by the halo of the land. So I compromises (a delightful one) on doing the state’s golden triangle” ---- Bhuhaneswar, puri and Konark---for they offer the quickest, and indeed , most substantive ininerary to sample the sourrouding fare.

My first stop is the capital driving on Bhubaneshwar’s busting roads, soaring stone spires appear and re appear with rapid regularity.

Through many of its 500-odd exiting temples trace back their origins to interesting legends and historicity, the 11 century lingaraja temple is the biggest and most famous dedicated to shiva, the destroyer of the hindu trinity, the lingaraa complex encloses with in it serval smaller shrines it spills over with devotees and traditionally attired priest.

buddhism

history of buddhism

Orissa has kept alive Buddhism and the Buddha in its ancient womb.the spirit of buhhism still hounts the very air of orissa.rock edicts that have challenged time.
Stand huge and over-powering by the banks of the river daya. The silent stones sing out songs of peace and non-violence.the torch of Buddhism is still ablaze in the sublime triangle of udayagiri, latigiri& ratangiri, on the banks of river birupa.
The sourrouding hills of languali and kayama stand as mute witnesses to the quirks and twists of history.

UFO'S....?nah

What's Happening?
Those of us who are in the UFO business see new reports on sightings almost every day. Many of these reports could probably be explained away fairly easily, but not all of them. And for every report there is, there are probably twice that many that are not reported. A recent Internet article is about his very thing.

What's Going On in the Outback © by Keith Douglass, goes into the fringe areas of Australia to give us some great examples of UFO sightings, animal mutilation, and even missing time/abduction cases that just don't normally make it to local newspapers. There are also reports of unknown flying craft that take water away from lakes, and a whole family who were seen driving into a UFO, still in their vehicle. The family had recently been seen in town, buying groceries. A tribe of the Aborigine was visited by strange people with webbed fingers who asked them for a crystal. This is just the beginning of some of the bizarre tales from the Northern Territory.

Among the many credible case files of UFOs is the 1967 UFO crash into the waters of Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia. This falls into the category often referred to as "unidentified submerged objects," which is actually a misnomer. A more general term should be used, not as classy sounding maybe, but more to the point; UFOs and Water. This tells us that UFOs that go into, out of, above, interact with, or navigate in the water belong in the same group.

USOs will be shown this Friday, February 3. Don't miss this one. I have seen it and thought they did a really good job of bringing in some great case files. Among them is the Shag Harbor case. Several theories are offered for why UFOs interact with water, including the use of ocean depths as underwater bases, which is one that I personally adhere to. Check it out, and see what you think.
